Well, I now know the HEAT is not being transferred properly to the heatsink. while it was showing 70C+ temps I touched the copper base and it was barely warm. It seems as though my thermal paste is too old...... FYI it is 10% silver and the newer Arctic silver 5 compound says it is 99.9%...
