    I have been looking into a monitor for my computer, I was looking at a max of $250. I was wondering what would be the best monitor for my graphics card (I currently have an r9 280x but was going to upgrade to a gtx 970) Would a 60hz be plenty or should I go 144hz or what?

    I am looking for a $300-$500 gpu, I have looked into it a bit and couldn't decide between r9 290/290x, gtx 780, or gtx 970. Please help me decide. I looked into the gtx 980 but I don't know if I wanna put that much $ into my gpu. Any Suggestions?
