Touch screen support no longer recognized on Windows 8.1?

Source: I worked for a manufacturer who designed and sold USB connected devices that needed to be always ON. =)

    monitor showing "out of range"

Battlefield is trying to run at a resolution and/or refresh rate beyond what the monitor is capable of. What monitor do you have? Also, is there more than one monitor connected to your video card?

    Headset Mic Problems

Is it possible you are accidentally muting via a Windows keyboard shortcut such as Ctrl+S or.. Windowskey+X ? You might want to check into your key bindings. I doubt this has anything to do with an adobe update or malware of any sort.

    CSGO Rubber banding

Check other PC's on your network to see if any are using network traffic. Or you can test by making sure you are the only one connected to the router, especially if the rubber-banding is easily repeatable or reproducible.

    USB Audio Popping

The expansion card doesn't need the motherboard's chipset driver for anything. It has its own USB controller on-board that the manufacturer wrote a driver for and they would qualify which OS support it has. So even if your motherboard manufacturer or Intel is not maintaining compatibility, it...

Listen to USB audio interface through Windows 10 in real time?

Your not going to get a "real time" recorded playback from any device that I know of. A recorded playback is also called a confidence recording and has at least a full second delay in most devices, sometimes more. It simply takes too long to buffer, convert from analog to digital, write to a...

    Component suggestions for x58 upgrade

Hate to say it but you might just want to move to new hardware and I say that as a fellow x58'r. You are approaching the ten year mark on the electrolytic capacitors. There has been enough incremental CPU upgrades to actually feel a difference. 1. New motherboard with NvMe controller 2...

    Upgrading from 920 to 970

I mean, it should be fine. It will run a little warmer but you should be just fine with it. Your idle temp won't change much...1-3C or so. You loaded temps could increase by about 10C which does approach an uncomfortable zone(80C+) for these CPUs. No way to know until you try it. I...

    Upgrading from 920 to 970

You are going from 2.67GHz to 3.2GHz native clock speed. The 970 can boost to 3.46GHz. The amount of heat increase is hard to say because you need to factor in efficiency of your cooler and quality of your thermal paste. I wouldn't be surprised to see a 10C increase on average and I am just...
