Calling on SR-71 Blackbird's help and anyone else to rebuild this cheaper or just give more reliable parts for around $1500-1600.
I will have a separate computer to stream and this new one for gaming.

Hey I just got the ASUS ROG GeForce GTX 1070 STRIX and it is completely silent. It comes out of the box at 1800mhz default clock and I have yet to see it get over 60c. It also has a nice red glow to match my red and black layout. I cannot tell you how the MSI Armor, Gainward, Palit or Galax will...
I can believe that about the micro-stutter as my GPU sits at 80c on H1Z1 even without streaming. I was going to give the Gigabyte GTX 1070 a try tomorrow. I wanted to upgrade my CPU as well because while playing H1Z1 my usage sits at 80-90%. My download is 120mb/s and upload is about 12mb/s and...

Also it only happens when I run a game. My temp will go from 50c to 80c once I get to WoW character screen. If I try to play it will overheat and my computer will shut off. The only temporary fix I have right now is to lower my GPU core clock speed from 1123 MHz to 900MHz and turning the...
I put a small dot of thermal paste - it must be something else.
I forgot to mention that I tried to overclock the card a bit and it caused my computer to crash and I got a black screen on startup displaying the "A2" error code. I fixed the error by swapping out SATA cables.
The coil whine...

Problem: When I start my computer the temp is around 42c-50c then once I open a game it goes up to to about 65c-84c and I get some coil whine...
Don't overclock on the power supply that came with the computer. I advise you to look into a tier 1-3 psu from here. Also look into a cooler such as the Cryorig H7 or the Evo 212 -- stock coolers are not recommended for overclocking. Also your motherboard may not be that great for ocing as...
That makes sense Wolf. I went to sleep, powered off the computer, and am now returning from school and the message has not appeared again. I am so confused.
Yes I was going to mention that software can give false readings! Your BIOS is accurate. A good voltage range is anywhere between 1.2-1.4v depending on your cooling. More voltages = higher temperatures. Look around for some guides to help you through the process. Best of luck :)
I have not recently installed Windows. I have Windows 7 Premium. It is an OEM from iBuyPower (they built my old PC which died within a year) but I have been using the HDD ever since with no issues on my new build.
I was playing CS:GO and my internet went out while I was using a wired connection...
