News No More Lip Service: Twitch, Game Platforms Still Ignore Hate and Harassment

You argued that people that don't want to bullied should get off the Internet: "I'd tell them, if they can't hadnle the head, get out of the kitchen" The context of the article and this discussion is specifically about people bullying others online based on their race and gender, but you say...

You don't have a right to bully people. It's not right to bully people. You're making excuses and we both know it.

News No More Lip Service: Twitch, Game Platforms Still Ignore Hate and Harassment

I'm just going to say, If you're posting to say you don't see the problem, you are the problem. People are fully willing to engage in homophobic, racist, misogynistic, and bigoted behavior online that they would never express in person. You know you're wrong. We know you're wrong. It's...

    Accidently creating bottlenecks/lag

You may be running double-nat (ISP to HOME & HOME to ROOM). Double-nat does weird things, especially with home networks.. This is especially problematic if you are using the same subnet in your room (10.1.1.X/24) as the rest of the house. I haven't seen a setup like this that doesn't cause...

[SOLVED] Low fps with gtx 1080 and i7 8700

Doesn't sound like anything is wrong. Frame rates are variable by nature. The amount you are currently rendering and the complexity of that rendering will determine your current frame rate. Big worlds with lots of object and effects will lower your frame rates; smaller spaces with fewer object...

[SOLVED] Low fps with gtx 1080 and i7 8700

I don't know about "very low".. Average on that setup seems to be around 130, which is about what you're reporting. There are things you can do to increase your frame rates like dropping AA, reducing shadows, and reducing depth of field (though I wouldn't drop this one in FPS)...

Should i tighten the heat sink's screws all the way after repaste ?

They should be hand-tightened and snug. No need to strip the screw applying too much torque. Unfortunately, "tightness" (loose, snug, over-tight) is subjective until you use a torque driver. Before you make any more changes, monitor the temp under load and see how your cooling performs. If you...

    Problem on sharp MX-3640

Generally, when you send a print job and see the printer respond (warming up, lighting up, or whatever), and then nothing happens; it's because there is a problem with the print driver and/or a print setting. When the printer detects a fatal error in the job, it will discard the job. This can...

    High CPU Temperature

Possible problems: 1) Bad contact between cooler and CPU. Check your installation and make sure the screws are holding as stated above. 2) Pump failure. How do you know you have good flow? Does your radiator get warm? 3) Fan issue. It looks like it's difficult to set the fan rpm range on this...

    Insane Ping Spikes

To check the public side of your Internet connection, use DSLReports Line Quality Test. This will tell you if there is something happening with your ISP. To check the private side of your Internet connection, go to a command prompt and run an extended ping to your gateway (ping x.x.x.x -t)...

[SOLVED] New System won't boot to windows and has mulitple error codes

I think you identified the problem. Your Memory is failing. Do you have XMP enabled with it running at 3200, or is it running at 2133? I'd disable XMP and run at reference settings to make sure you're stable before cranking anything up.

[SOLVED] HDD and DVD drive not found after new PSU and Graphics card in?

I'd agree that the HDD is fried. Bummer. Same with the DVD? I wonder if the Windows has a lot of pointers to the now non-existent drive and is acting funny because of it. You might want to fix your drive situation and go with a clean install.

[SOLVED] HDD and DVD drive not found after new PSU and Graphics card in?

Quadruple check your cables.. both ends of the sata data cable and both ends of the power cables. Sata data cables come loose easy when you rewiring things. I'm guessing something isn't connected solidly. Otherwise try a different power port on your PSU. It probably has more than one drive...
