I,d just like to try and clarify from what unoc said up there to what exstent my listed goodies would suffer from not having a more advanced raid setup, meaning would there be a noticable bottleneck from a standard ide system ie- what speed is standard ide etc, any replies appreciated.. S.

So I,m assuming that hardrives are more of a factor than I had previously assumed. A raid configeration does sound the way to go from what i,v heard but not having investigated hardrives I have absolutly no idea on how a raid config works...safe to say then that a standard ide drive will not...
