I'm having the exact same problem with my main comp. When I turn it on it boots but then the screen goes blanck, doesnt even get to a xp loading screen, and its defo the hdd thats the problem.....

Dammit. I meant to say 4890, i was looking at a 4870 when I said it...

So which is better in your opinion and why?? I'm trying to make up my mind between the two... If you think ATI, could you also suggest a mobo thats i5 and crossfire compatable? Thanks!
