Hey, so prior to yesterday, my computer was running fine when I played games. GTA was around 80% and Fortnite was maybe 50% or something like that. Fortnite started lagging for some reason, so I checked task manager and my cpu was running at 100%. I ran GTA later and that was at 90% so I cant...

From the Epic Launcher. I'm going to install then reinstall and see if that helps. I've just been playing games but without chrome open so my computer doesn't blow up.

Actually I believe it is a game issue because I am running rainbow six and gta 5 and they are less taxing than Fortnite.

Ok, thanks for your help. I guess I was just confused on why my performance suddenly dropped. I might upgrade in a little while then.

Full CPU is at mid 90%, Fortnite is at 70-80%

The components in my pc are 2-3 years old at this point I don't know if that info helps.

I deselected them all and it didn't seem to do anything. I tried opening chrome, Fortnite, and Discord, and it still runs at 100%.

I also just cleaned out my pc with a can of compressed air and it didn't seem to help with the cpu.

I think it was mostly chrome and discord but those were the only noteworthy apps open.

Yeah, some that were using some CPU.

I restarted my computer after going into startup and disabling some of the apps.

I did that and nothing changed

Do You mean highest in Processes while running or high in startup impact?
