So i've just bought an SSD and it's exactly the same size as my HDD. How do I know which drive I've installed Windows on to? Is there a way to check after installing?
So I'm in the process of building my first system with out an optical drive and I just want to make sure I'm getting the right drivers. There are so many.
My build:
CPU: Intel Core i5-4460 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor
Motherboard: Asus H97M-PLUS Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard
Memory: Kingston...
Yes, but seeing as I have no 5.25" bays in my case I was thinking something along the lines of the Commander Mini?
I've seen it a lot around here, but I hardly know anything about it.
So my case, the Corsair 240 Air has 3 3-pin fans pre installed, but my mobo, Asus H97M-Plus, only has room for 2 4-pin ones.
Do I buy a 3-to-4-pin converter, or a fan controller, and in that case which one?
What are the pros and cons?
Case in question is the Corsair Carbide 240 Air and my motherboard is the Asus H97M-Plus. I've only been able to screw in 2 of the motherboard screws tight, the rest are just turning around in the standoffs.
I checked all the other screws with the spare standoff, and none of them fit. Is this...
I'm probably gonna stick with the SuperNOVA.
But I was actually thinking more about future GPUs. Will they be needing more power or is that impossible to tell at the moment?
This is my build at the moment:
CPU: Intel Core i5-4460 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor ($176.95 @ SuperBiiz)
Memory: Kingston HyperX Fury Black 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($90.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Storage: Kingston Savage 240GB 2.5" Solid State Drive ($102.99 @ Newegg)
Video Card: MSI Radeon...
