Yes , 1080p is the right choice . You should NEVER have to play on a 768p screen EVER . The gtx 1050 ti is amazing for 1080p at medium to high settings , try to look at some benchmarks online to get a more accurate measure of how well it will do in games.

Your pc has no problems at all in terms of specs , black ops 3 is a rubbish port to the pc gaming community and I myself have these same fps problems.
