Bump, I still have this issue even with a new mobo. Before downloading the Intel USB 3.0 drivers, my hdd would show up on start up without needing to replug it. After installing it, my external HDD will not show up on start up unless I replug it in.

No drivers from Windows, even when replugging in and it recognizes it. Still doesn't recognize on reboot. There are no particular drivers for the seagate goflex that I can see. I even downloaded the dashboard/hdd testing app and still nothing. Very weird.

Yes, I have a USB keyboard and mouse. The USB HDD works in other PCs, it seems its my drivers. It works on my PC without the drivers, just laggy. I have no idea how to fix this.

This happens randomly, starting about a month ago. I'm on Windows 7 64bit, and every so often my monitor would flicker black just once, and once it goes back from blackness for a second, the task bar would be totally plain and white. Okay, I'm thinking of RMA'ing it. Problem is I lost the plastic wrap to put the cpu/fan in. I have the actual box it came in, with the name in it and the barcode and everything, but the plastic thing it was sealed in is lost. Also, the pushpins are a little bent. That's obviously not whats wrong...
