Just a quick update, i just got back, turned on my computer, and it just worked, absolutely no idea what was wrong with it, no errors or anything, it just works as before. Still, i will keep an eye on it, i need a new motherboard anyway, but i was hoping to wait until AM4 boards come out to...

Ill try and get a new board, if it still doesnt work then i guess ill get a new PSU, i need a new board anyway as i cant really overclock on it so i have a bottleneck, and i need a new PSU as whilst it is of good quality, 550w is running the line a little bit lol. Thanks for your help :)

Just plugged it into my laptop, they turn on, however the lights on the keyboard never turn on until after the computer has gone past POST and has gone past the initial BIOS screen.

All of the fans are running, my GPU has a MSI light on it what also turns on, the corsair light on the cooler also turns on, i switch the USB ports around and the mouse light comes on fine but the keyboard one doesnt come on.

I was overclocking my FX6300 the other day and i noticed an option in the BIOS to only use modules as cores (So it would take my FX6300 from a 6 core CPU to a 3, but i imagine the cores would be much stronger) Would this offer any kind of performance increase in gaming? Or should i leave it as...

Would I have needed the backplate to even use the AMD stock cooler? if so ill have a quick look around for it

It came with something similar to that, it came with the 2 end black thick things, however it didn't have the surrounding black thing (If that makes any sense lol, hard to explain), it certainly didn't come with the thing on the left. Ill take a look at the link now.
