Because my AMD athlon II x4 640 is a bit overkill for HTPC use, i replaced it with a different mobo and cpu: Intel celeron j1900. I am disappointed with the power consumption though. At idle it pulls 27 watts At the plug. Under light to moderate load it pulls 35 watts. I think this is quite high...
