Oh trust me I must have reinstalled at least 5 times with no luck haha.

I was using it mostly to scan things on occasion but now that you mention it I could just use windows fax and scan. I would just like to know why it's not working at this point when it was working fine prior.

I had actually looked at that one but was unsure about it because I didnt see it on the Tier list, I actually picked up a Antec truepower classic 750, I think it will do the trick and ill report back if I still experience any coilwhine.

Okay so removing the grounding wire changed the pitch of the buzz so then I removed the usb connector for the front panel and it seems the audio and USB share a ground, so now I have no buzz. I am amazed, thank you so much hahah. next step I guess is im gonna have to take the thing apart to cut...

That seems like it's worth a shot, ill experiment and see what I find. Altho the first thing Ill do is just remove the front panel grouding wire from the case, shouldnt be a need to take the thing apart like he did.

It's a antec 300, the front panel audio/usb has a dedicated grounding wire and my multimeter continuity test is telling me I have good ground all the way to at least the plug on the wall, whether the outlets grounded or not I'm not sure how I can safely test. My origiinal sound card the Asus...
