Well even if you get better CPU and Ram, people here are right. Arma is arma. Those games fail to run smoothly for all i think. Very very hungry for specs. Even though my pc can run anything at stable 60fps, even Arma2 didn't run stable even with medium settings somehow =/

It could be either software or hardware problem or both. For hardware, not enough power? Other than that, clean the dust off there. The dust collects over the fan and eventually it can stop or work less efficiently. Had this happen once, so it shut down as soon as it was overheating. For...

Steam is a convienent client just like Desura. There are frequent sales, which help you if you want to get a fairly expensive game for less cash. Overall people buy the game just because they are on sale and cheap. If all games would be expensive, there would be more piracy.
