I have a old PC with Core2duo E7200 cpu and 100 mbps NIC. I am planning to use it for net surfing. Can it fully utilize 50 Mbps fiber connection or the CPU will saturate as there is no graphics card ?

Just remove your SSD and put it in a SATA III external hard drive case and connect to another computer. Most probably you will have to reformat it.

This old PC is used only for web browsing. Most of the sites now a days have tons of pictures. It takes time to load these pages. I thought by adding a GPU the pages might load faster.

You mean wireless Adapter then I would suggest a good USB wireless Adapter. They are easily available and quiet convenient to use.

That motherboard has a Ethernet Port than why do you need an NIC card?

If everything is working then put a Network Adapter Card and Internet will start working. It will be very economical option.

It seems you laptop has UEFI. If that's right then don't disable secure boot etc. Format the USB in fat32 format. Mount the ISO file and copy the contents to the USB.
