The Gigabyte Windforce 16gb hits MSRP on a regular basis on Newegg. I picked up one earlier this month. 429USD is acceptable - 489USD isn't.

Not just them. Every penny and every moment spent on RGB is a penny & time that could have been spent on performance. More important to me is the lack of PCIe slots. This is why I am still on AM4.

It isn't retailers. If you are used to getting say 4500 of the x70 class cards per month, and Nvida only delivers 450 per month - what are you going to do? You are going to sell those cards for as much as you can.

3gb vram chips are coming this summer, which could get a Super refresh.
