    Probably option a simply because you're probably not going to notice the difference between the speeds unless you plan on photo or video editing/creation. If you do plan to do that, then choose the kit with a higher speed; just make sure your mobo can support it.

    I would suggest the 1060 so long as the pricing isn't much higher than MSRP. Many of the mid-tier cards are being purchased by cryto-miners so prices of 1060s and 1070s might be affected. If the 1060 is a good bit higher than MSRP, it may be worth it to wait a while.

    I tried to overclock my processor (Intel i7 7700k @4.2Ghz) to 5.0Ghz. I was able to achieve a successful overclock of 5.15Ghz at 1.35v.
