I want to win!

I think both yes and no. I think in terms of compute performance it will, but I think in terms of sales it won't. Because AMD is playing catch up at this point to Intel, I don't think it will have enough steam to sell as well as they would like (although I believe it will sell fairly well).

So in terms of a reboot (not a continuation - whether sequel, prequel, or side story, not a remake, and not a remaster, but an actual, complete reboot), I'd have to agree with many of the existing answers. With upcoming additional varieties of VR HMDs, how difficult is it to support them all? And with new technologies (like with NVidia SMP with the Pascal release), how difficult is it to keep up and ensure your games support everything that is available?
