its not installed, i just use the cd, its always worked fine but not on this p5q board? its strange... even if i use drive snapshot tool from within BART PE it doesnt shows the hds (2 in raid, 1 not)..... i just wanna make a friggin image of the hd to restore to at some point...........

just built a new machine with p5q deluxe, i have a ide cdrom drive. i have installed xp on raid0 and i want to image it. i boot up the ghost cd and select cd drivers. it goes though its steps, but it then says it cannot find a cd drive cd1 or cd2 so i cant open the ghost.exe to make the...

ok, its driving me mad.... i have two WD 74gb drives plugged in ports 1 and 2 (at the top, not the bottom 0 and 1, as the intel is quicker so test show..) i have ssetup the raid as 0... run xp setup, select the drive, ich10r sata controller driver... it then goes and shows the drives, i format...

on the qvl list it says "supports one modules inserted into either slot as single-chanel memory config" whats this mean and is it not as good as: "supports one pair of modules inserted into either yellow or black slots as one pair of dual-chanel mem configs"

what ram for a asus p5q deluxe... was going to get Corsair DDR2 XMS2 Dominator PC2-8500C5 TwinX but out of stock, anything else recommended? or should i wait if its the better ram.. ps only 2gb.. windows xp 32bit
