You could drill and run a conduit from the demark outside your house to your panel. Maybe the tech will fish the fiber in for you if it's easy.

As long as there are 4 pairs for the lines you are currently using for phone you should be okay, although it might not give you past 100 mbps if they are not cat5e. I've seen cat3 do 90mbps.

I have the same issue with my old powerline adapters, If you have old coax wiring in the house you could try MoCA adapters, they aren't cheap and I've sold all I have, unfortunately it looks like you'll have to try WiFi or run an actual ethernet cable.
