apologies my psu does have an 8 pin, it is a 6+2 and i used a 8pin to 2x4pin splitter. it is 450 watts but i saw that this is exaggerated and an rx580 only takes 340-360 watts and the system wont get past 450 usually so i dont think it is the psu's fault. it has 2 6+2 pins.
