I had a powered enclosure that I used for years that cost me just under 20$ it was for SATA hard drives, I swapped out drives to do data recovery, as long as the interface on the enclosure is fast as you can get, the actual hardware inside doesn't do a whole lot just changes the output plugs

Will wait for a full review with drivers to decide if its a flop or not, even without drivers this one benchmark shows it to be almost par with a Titan V which is a 2500$ card IF you can get it cheap
