Did I win the silicon lottery?

I added some case fans and reduced the max temp while stress testing to 77 degrees (I'll probably also swap pastes from the stock stuff to some Arctic Silver 5 later on). Gaming is nowhere near that and is around 55-60 degrees and Idle 39-42 degrees, so do you think I can safely run this clock...

Did I win the silicon lottery?

I ran it and it was stable. Gaming I max around 60 degrees and during stress tests I max at 80. Are these temps normal and safe for stock cooler overclocking?

Did I win the silicon lottery?

So I just started overclocking my Ryzen R5 1500x CPU (I'm an overclocking noob btw) and am currently at 3.9 ghz and am running stable at 1.29 volts. While using the stock cooler I am getting into the 70s with CPU and FPU stress tests on AIDA64 so i think I might stop here. But is this pretty...

Looking for a decent, reliable motherboard for Ryzen 1600

I'm looking for a good motherboard to pair with a new Ryzen 1600 processor. Here are the ones I have been looking at: MSI X370 Gaming Plus: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XQ5V3R4/ref=ox_sc_act_title_3?smid=A8AFHGL03OEF2&psc=1 Gigabyte-GA-AB350-GAMING 3...

    GTX 1060 underperforming?

I cannot upgrade to an Intel CPU at this time. I'm sure an FX 8300 should be fine for BF1 since it has good multicore performance. I seriously thought that upgrading to a 1060 would've yielded way a better performance increase from the 750 ti. But it seems like nothing has changed. The restore...

    GTX 1060 underperforming?

I just installed a GTX 1060 6GB to replace my GTX 750 TI and I feel like I am not getting a very good performance increase. In Battlefield 1 I can't get over 40 FPS on Medium-high settings. I have done a clean driver install as well for the gpu. These are my full specs: GTX 1060 FX 8300 12 GB RAM

Will these ram sticks work together?

I am not buying more RAM and I don't plan to anytime soon. I play survival games like Rust which require more than 8gb of memory to run which is why I thought, why not? I have extra sticks lets see if we can get something to work. And as of now it seems fine. 12 GB usable, although it appears to...

Will these ram sticks work together?

According to my BIOS it says my RAM speed is 1333 Mhz. Is that talking about all RAM sticks in my system? And also in CPU-Z it only says Channel# Dual not Dual Asynchronous

Will these ram sticks work together?

What are the slow downs that you are talking about when I am using the RAM setup? I'm not even really sure what faster RAM even does for PC performance.

Will these ram sticks work together?

It booted up and according to my BIOS and CPU-Z they are running at 9-9-9-24 latency. Before I turned off my PC to add the extra stick in CPU-Z and Task Manager both said my ram was running at 667 MHz which is normal I suppose because I am running in dual channel. Now that I have added one other...
