    Intel 6700k Overclocking

Right this helps a lot now. I did some testing again and it all comes down to working with LLC and Voltage. I don't know about other MB brands but in my case LLC has 7 levels with 15% increase per level. I started with 1.3v on 4.5 ghz from level 1 up to level 7 testing. What happened is that...

    Intel 6700k Overclocking

I see and what exactly is causing the increased voltage when I'm stress testing and basically when the CPU is under load ? For example I set the vcore to 1.35 but it actually goes higher is it because of the LLC . For one thing messing with the LLC increases the heat and I'm noticing that the...

    Intel 6700k Overclocking

On 1.35 4.6ghz will crash with blue scree watch dog error which to my understanding is due to lack of power. I also have my CPU fan running at 100% when the CPU hits 60% temp which is about 2000 rpm. On default BIOS it's even worse. Vcore gets to about 1.44, heat is about the same. Also on...

    Intel 6700k Overclocking

I'm trying to OC my CPU I managed to push it to 4.6gh with 1.365v tho when I stress test it it get to about 1.392v. Temps are spiking a lot from 60 to about 80 ( not using water using Be Quite Dark Rock 3 ) but once they hit 80 they got back to about 65-70 asap so I'm not sure if I should worry...

    GTX 1070 Asus Strix OC

Yea I know that but my 12, 5 and 3 v are ok so I thought it's working fine I wonder if that could be the issue

    GTX 1070 Asus Strix OC

I'm working my way to OC my GPU. I managed to get to about 2114mhz however the voltage is acting a lot from about 1 to about 1.050 which causes the clock to act as well. I'm hitting the power limit all the time. Interesting is that even on default on tests I'm still hitting the power limits...

    Led on motherboard

Yea exactly, when I turn off the psu the led goes off. So that means the led should be on all the time? And if by some chances one day it doesn't glow that's bad?

    Led on motherboard

Ok I have z87-k motherboard and recently I noticed that the led on it is lit all the time even when the PC is shut down. The led is glowing in green which I assume is a good thing however I don't think i've even seen it being on all the time. I'm somehow worried and I want someone to confirm...

    GPU heating up

Ok so after some looking around I found the problem and the solution. Apparently the problem is indeed a virus however it's a different than the usual we get. Apparently it's a new one or so I think cuz it didn't get detected by Kaspersky 2013/2014 or Windows Defender. It got detected only with...

    GPU heating up

Ok I just rechecked my fans when the prob occurs and the GPU fans are getting up to 2300 RPM so apparently it ain't the fans problem. Something makes my GPU to work for no reason.

    GPU heating up

Since few days ago I noticed that my GPU is acting weird. While my PC is idle for about 5 mins the GPU starts to heat up to about 64-67 degree. When I move my mouse the GPU starts to lose temp and gets back to normal temp at about 30 degree. What could be the cause of that ? I have asus gtx...
