Replacement fans for Corsair H110i GT

I've just put two NF-A14 iPPC 2000 PWM fans on my H115 and yes, they are noisy at high RPM's. However, I was using Cougar fans previously that were very quiet and these are not much louder. The Industrial part of the name refers more to the robust materials and IP rating they carry. They spin...

5 fans and a 280mm radiator in mastercase maker 5

General rule of thumb is more intake than exhaust. If you have it the other way round you'll create negative pressure, suck dust in etc etc. I've done a lot of testing and research over the last couple of weeks, and while many people seem to like having the H110/115 as an exhaust, it hardly...

What to do with Corsair spec 3 case fans?

If you want to use them, and control them, get yourself a fan controller. There are simple ones like this: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Zalman-Fan-Speed-Controller-FANMATE-2/dp/B000292DO0/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1481045577&sr=8-2&keywords=pc+fan+controller Or you can spend more on flashy LCD...

Is the H115i the most quiet AIO cooler?

I recently replaced my H80i GT with a H115i. The noise is really more about the fans regardless of which manufacturer you choose. Corsair rate their SP140L fans at 40dB, which I didn't even test but any fan running at 2000rpm will make a racket. I used Noctua iPPC 2000rpm fans on mine (31.5dB)...

Looking for some help on a proposed first time build.

Much better option, but i'd lose the X400 and take an Ultra II, cheaper and IMO a bit better: http://ssd.userbenchmark.com/Compare/SanDisk-X400-512GB-vs-SanDisk-Ultra-II-480GB/m74118vs3473 Won't go wrong with the above though :)

Looking for some help on a proposed first time build.

There are minor gains to be had having an i7, but if you're on a budget the i5 is perfectly fine for any AAA title. If you have a little more to spend, I personally would put it into the cooling. If you want air then perhaps the Noctua NH-D14 or for water an H80i GT. Power supply is more than...

Gigabyte Xtreme Gaming GTX 1080 Led Issue

Hi, I have the GTX 1080 Xtreme and I only use the Gigabyte application to change settings. This is a pure guess, but it's possible there's a conflict between the Nvidia software and the Gigabyte software. If it was me, I'd probably RMA it just to be on the safe side. Hope that helps! battlefield 1 graphics cards for best resolution value for money

Unless you're running in 4K, go for a 980ti. They're pretty cheap now compared to the 1080, but in many benchmarks out perform the 1070. I ran BF1 in Ultra at around 85-90fps on my 980ti @ 1440p 165hz. Cheerio.

Fractal Define R5 with Corsair H80i V2 fan placement options.

Hi Rob, Sorry you didn't seem to get any replies. I'm running an H80i GT with Cougar Vortex HDB fans as an exhaust (push/pull) in an R5 case. This really is all the exhaust you need unless you're doing extreme OC'ing - which the H80i isn't really made for. My other Cougar 140mm fans are...
