Question Computer freezes during specific events.

I would play a game (specifically Valorant) and after a specific number of rounds passes (2), my game freezes, and all I can do is hold down my power button to shut it down. This also happens sometimes specifically when I go on Amazon Prime Video's site.

    Computer isn't using upgraded RAM

Recently I upgraded my RAM, placing a 4GB DDR3 into the 2nd and last slot, making it a total of 12GB. When I started my computer, I looked and noticed that on the system information, it says there is 12GB, but only 7.94 is usable. Can someone help me unlock the other RAM so it can be used? Thanks!
