Help: 7870 Tahiti Le and no monitor signal

I had the same issue, check my threads. I ended up solving it with a bios update, some other people on redflagdeals forum also solved it by getting a new motherboard. http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/330239-30-boot-express-power-plugged http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/390969-33-7870-tahiti-boot

might or might not be related but did you try switching your SATA mode to AHCI? I have an SSD and whenever I reset my bios settings I had to switch it from IDE to AHCI or else it bsods over and over.

New 7870 Tahiti LE won't boot

Updating the bios seemed to work, maybe my old version was just too old for the card? (Went from F10 to F18)

New 7870 Tahiti LE won't boot

I did a few more tests today. I reset the CMOS of my MOBO by taking out the battery, still didn't work, same symptoms. I tried putting it into the other PCI (x4 I believe) slot, the computer turned itself off after a few seconds (Same situation as the other PCI slot, except it actually turns...

New 7870 Tahiti LE won't boot

I've tried reseating it multiple times and I've also reset my bios to factory settings. It still won't boot up the computer fully. It seems to me like some sort of power issue because when I plug in the pci-e all fans turn on but nothing else gets power (my keyboard lights up if the computer can...

PC won't boot with two PCI Express power plugged in

Hello Groundrat, The PC does boot with one plugged in, the GPU still doesn't work though (not enough power I guess). Where is the red LED located to indicate it isn't working? My green is 650w and I assumed the 7870 tahiti would require much less, but it seems what you are saying is a huge...
