Hi, I've got two SSDs in my system; 1 M.2 which is where the OS is and it's not right, going to send it back. I'm about to do a fresh install onto the other SSD which will wipe it but I'm don't know how to wipe the M.2 where the OS will be as well?!?! Thanks

Have you over clocked your CPU? If not defiantly do that (even buy a better cooler to do it if required)

probably be fine... my i7 920 @ 3.6 GHz is still rocking on :) Who knows what a 980 will be like in 3 years, especially at 1440p, might need to be turning down some settings but not by that much is my guess

Your CPU comes with a stock cooler which is ok but typically any reasonable over clock on it is not recommended. Something to think about is the cooler on your GPU dumps the heat in the case and the basic CPU cooler might struggle... depends on the room temp and the type of load the CPU will be...

I noticed a massive difference with my ROG SWIFT coming from a 1080p TV and G-Sync is amazing... if you don't notice a significant difference instantly go and get your eyes tested :) Both monitors appear to be very similar so either should blow your mind!
