I have tried it on different USB port on the same PC and other pc's. Still the LED is not up. The device is not shown on the disk management even when I connect the extnl disc using a SATA cable directly to the PC as suggested to one of queries in this forum. any idea what else can I try now...

I have an external hard disc which suddenly is not getting recognized when connected to a pc. I used the supplied Y cable to connect to the USB and the indicator did n't turn on and from that point onwards it is not getting any response from any PC. What could have gone wrong? pl. help me..
