Running it under load shows me following values in Hardware Monitor:
CPU Vcore= 1.152 with max at 1.272V;
VID0 to VID5(core voltages I presume)= 1.360-1.380V average with max at 1.469
So how can that be if my voltage set to 1.280V rn in the bios(tried 1.250, but it crashes almost immediately)...
Hello, I have a i7-8700k, which I did overclock and it runs at 4.7 MHz rn at a 1.300V.(Bios settings)
I used an Intel Extreme Tuning Utility later, and tested it at 4.8 with voltage offset set to -0.115V. The system was stable and I run it for about a month. I just found some weird thing that...
Hello, everyone! I have some space on my pc case which I can’t use for an additional fan or anything. So I saw a couple of custom builds, where folks mount 5” or 7” displays and monitor sensors from there. I thought it would be a very cool and handy addition to my otherwise boring case. Could...
I see, I was just considering future possible updates, however for the price of those 2x8 sticks, I have found the next speed(3200) Corsair RAM which has 4x8GB sticks, so I think it’s not really relevant anymore to buy 2 more if I can replace all 4 for the same price.
Hello, just wanna ask a quick question here. I’ve got a secondhand pc that I’ve bought recently, and I was thinking about upgrading it's RAM from 16Gb to 32GB.
I know it’s better to buy the whole thing at once, but I think I found my exact RAM and I wanna know whether it is compatible...
Okay, I did according to your advice(swapped all of my fans), my temps are all good now; CPU also lost 3-4 degrees as a nice bonus.
I can’t believe that’s the same case! Gonna test without the lid, however I don’t expect much of a change at that point.
Thanks a lot! I repasted my gpu, now it runs Heaven at 68° stable at 1940MHz with open case, I’ll try to resolve airflow issue, if not I don’t mind gaming with an open lid, however it’s a bit noisier that way.
As I understand it is connected to the cpu cooler, so I thought that my front fan exhausts hot air from cpu only, that’s why I’m asking.
Yes, that’s it! Power supply fan, should it also be set to exhaust instead of intake?
Is it fine to do that? Doesn’t it matter that my front fan is connected to CPU?
If yes, then I need to make up, down and back fans exhaust air, while the front one will pull the air in, right?😅
I’ve also considered buying sth like this:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08L4YQJG3/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
But first, it might be a bit overkill+I’m not sure whether I’ll have space for it in this case, and secondly where I live I could buy another 1080 ti for the...
1: front
2: under case
3: inside
I’ve looked around the box and it seems that’s one of the NZXT models with stock fans. Also there was a front panel which I removed for better airflow(was purely covering front fans).
As I’ve mentioned above, I believe back, up and down fans are set to intake...
