Sorry for the late reply changing the pcie didn't make a difference anymore ideas?

The older cpu is currently in another computer but I can if I have too ill try the pcie fix tomorrow and tell you how it goes

The motherboard has worked fine for years how long after buying the cpu can you rma it as I bought the cpu in November had had this issue for a while

do you think the cpu is defective ?

I bought the CPU on Amazon and the motherboard is an Asus ROG B450-F. I will check the BIOS version later today as I'm at work.

It's Corsair AIO with 360mm radiator which should be more then enough, I can't remember the exact model.
