    I want to upgrade my i5 3300 to an i7 7700k

Nope, I don't intend to overclock at all. So keeping the same cooler should be fine, right?

    I want to upgrade my i5 3300 to an i7 7700k

This is my PC: I want to upgrade the processor to an i7 7700k. Is changing only the motherboard to a LGA 1151 enough, or do I also need to change coolers, PSU, etc?

    Overclocking an i5 3300 3.00ghz

I heard that this processor can be overclocked to 3.6ghz, but I'm still new to overclocking (have never done it before), so I'm not exactly sure how to proceed. If possible, I'd like an easy to use/user friendly overclocking software, that would do the overclock in a safe way.

Drivers for Gigabyte Technology h61m s1

Nevermind, there's no need to grab stuff online anymore. I went back to the store and got a driver installation cd from the technician. Here are all the drivers on it: Google Drive -I have it on my Windows 8.1 laptop and never use it, so this is useless. Google Chrome -I don't access the...

Sent my computer to repairs. Apparently it's a motherboard problem

Lately I've been having a pretty bad problem with my computer. Basically, when I press the power button to turn it on, sometimes it powers on fine, sometimes it doesn't. More often than not, it doesn't turn on at all. The green light appears, but the red light doesn't. When the red light does...

I have Windows 8.1 and want to switch to Windows XP. How can I do that?

Thanks for the tips, guys. And I think I found out the problem. The programs Superfetch and Windows Update were the ones causing high CPU usage. I disabled them and deleted all the factory crapware. Now my performance has increased a lot.

I have Windows 8.1 and want to switch to Windows XP. How can I do that?

Ok, I'm convinced. But I will need you guys' help on something. It seems like I found what's consuming so much of my CPU. It's "Service Host: Local System". Below is a screenshot: It keeps at around 30% the whole time. How can I make it stop/disable it or at least make it consume less power?

I have Windows 8.1 and want to switch to Windows XP. How can I do that?

I want XP cause Windows 8.1 demands too much power from my laptop. CPU usage is always high even when I'm doing nothing. That's because of a bunch of useless apps that came from the factory. I've already reseted it once while keeping 8.1, but it's still rather slow. So I want a less powerful OS...

I have Windows 8.1 and want to switch to Windows XP. How can I do that?

Hi, everyone. I have Windows 8.1 on one of my laptops and want to switch to Windows XP. In order to do that, I need to reformat it and do a clean OS reinstallation, right? This is what I currently have on the laptop: As you can see, I have exactly 4GB of RAM, so that means Windows XP would...

    Left speaker too quiet (stereo)

Well, what do you mean by "head unit"? I'd certainly try a new one but I have no idea what that is. Googling didn't help either.
