Hi I just finished building my first PC but i noticed that it can only connect through Ethernet would I be missing any drivers or something?

My laptop has this weird annoying problem that i notice when trying to create a folder upload or download something or sometimes even just try to view any folder nothing appears and i am forced to either wait like 10minutes or restart my computer for the computer to find the files again.

I am buying an R9 280x from someone but noticed that there are so many versions of it he said that it is the reference version but idk what that one would look like to make sure I am getting the right card... will it say its version on the card?

I am just wondering if it is ok to use a TV for PC gaming or if there are any advantages to buying a monitor?
