Your best bet is a custom water loop because closed loop coolers are not designed for GPUs. Custom will offer the best cooling, silence, looks, and value. Let me know which route you decide.

4.8 GHz at least with a huge overclock on the 680

Gtx 650 ti with corsair rm450watt PSU. Assuming your case is not the limiting factor.

The title says it all. I have an i7-4770k with an Asus Sabertooth Z87 motherboard. I have zero experience with over clocking and I would like to know how and what to do to achieve around a 4.4 GHz overclock. I'm using an H100i so temps should not be as limiting. Thanks, Tom

Thank you but unfortunately I already have the 780. I obviously want to overclock but for me I want to be as silent as possible. I was thinking of using a 240 rad up top as exhaust and a 240 rad in the front as intake and possible a 120 rad on the rear as exhaust. What do you think?

Better off with the 780 and spend the 200 on water cooling. You will be able to surpass 780 ti performance.

With a 900p monitor it will be able to run on all or pretty much all ultra. High vs. Ultra in reality is hardly noticeable.

It depends on the FPS you want to get but I bet with high you can get between 40-60 FPS with moderate overclocking. Assuming 1080p.

True so I was thinking of going 4 x 4gb for 16. Would you change anything else? What monitor(s) would you suggest? It will be my first custom PC as I am making the switch from consoles. Is the sabertooth a good gaming mobo for longevity and over clock ability? Thanks, Tom
