ok, completely removed and reseated both card, unplugged all cables and replugged in and still no improvement.

I will attempt that in a moment and update as soon as I get back online

so reseting the bios didn't change anything. and i have tried about 2 other older CCC with drivers, one of which was the old one from the first time i used the cards together.

I'm going to reset bios one more time and see if that is the case, though CCC says that they are both on and PCI 2.0 x8

that could be that case, any recommendations on the driver that might work? also after a little poking around I have noticed that one of the bios versions for the card is 015.030.000.001 and other is 015.030.000.000

they are, and strange thing is that in CCC under the information tab, one says primary card and other is labeled disabled card.
