Hmmm that phenom should be enough. Just overclock it... If you really want an affordable CPU get the FX-6300 or an I5 if you have cash

What's your motherboard? It could be VRM throttling. My 970-G46 was doing that to my stock 8350... I changed motherboard and its gone

Just for reference I had an H60 and the 8350 on stock that runs almost identical to you at full load (70c). I think the H60 just doesn't cut it for 8350. I changed to H100i and I don't have anymore heat problems. 45c at 4.5ghz

What's your budget? If you're at in the $200 range get the 8320/8350.. I'm wrecking BF4 with my 8350

It's pretty light on the system... On 1080 I think an 7790 should be enough

I have the FX-8350 and I never go below 60fps. All ultra, x2 MSAA and low AA Post. 2560x1080 res with 150% res scaling. Min fps was 67 lol

Are you using Windows 7? I recently upgraded from Win7 to Win8 and it boosted my fps a lot. I went from 40 avg to 80 avg... My FPS never drop below 60 even on the graphically intensive part of the game... Thats on 64 player maps Settings all ultra 2560x1080 resolution X2 Msaa and Low AA post...

I don't think it's the CPU... Most likely a bad card. I have the FX-8350 OCed to 4.5ghz and CF 7970s and I never go below 60... I'm running at 2560x1080 all ultra with x2 MSAA and AA post low. I also have 150% res scaling. My minimum fps was 65, avg of 80
