Connect 192.168.0.x network with 192.168.1.x network

Hi Kerberos, Thanks for the help. The gateways are: 192.168.0.1 (ISP router) 192.168.1.1 (Secondary / home network router). The Secondary router is connected through a WAN port to the ISP router and has a fixed IP of 192.168.0.3. I couldn't understand your solution. Could you please elaborate?

Connect 192.168.0.x network with 192.168.1.x network

Hi Bill, Thanks for your response, to clarify. The ISP router wifi is used just as you prescribed it. The whole load runs on ASUS (20 home devices, including 2 streaming servers and 2 NAS, printers etc..). The Asus 68U is handling the loads spectacularly and has no issue. The challenge is that...

Dual-band router: is it faster to run 2 devices on 5GHZ band or to put one on 2.4 GHZ and the other on 5 GHZ?

5GHz is always faster in terms of throughput, but it suffers with shorter distance range. So technically speaking, it is always better to put all the devices in the higher throughput range assuming that the wi-fi coverage in your home / place is adequately covering the entire range required...

Wifi adapter won't enable or let me connect to wifi

Its probably that the Wi-Fi networks are newer age like n/Ac etc.. while your old adapter probably only supports b/g capabilities. If you have a recent mobile phone, trying connecting to the wi-fi network and check. If you are able to connect, then its likely that the old wi-fi adapter doesn't...

Connect 192.168.0.x network with 192.168.1.x network

I have two routers - one is the ISP router - a not so capable router that is responsible for DSL (192.168.0.x network). And I have another Asus AC68U router which is the main stay for the home network (192.168.1.x network). This is WAN connected to the ISP Router. This has a NAS attached to...

Can you bridge two wireless routers and use both bands simultaneously (2.4ghz & 5ghz)?

This is done through Mesh Networking. Asus Routers for example - with a firmware upgrade support this. Not sure if Netgear routers can do that.

Dual-band router: is it faster to run 2 devices on 5GHZ band or to put one on 2.4 GHZ and the other on 5 GHZ?

Answer depends on a number of factors. 2.4 GHZ - Longer distance, lower bandwidths 5 GHZ - Shorter Distance, higher bandwidth. Speed / performance of the band is really dependent on the Router configuration - is it a performance router or a basic router. In your case if the data transmission...
