i would most likley get a new psu as they do save power and your old one my crash out specifically when you asking it to power a 980 card they draw quite a lot of power also you might as well get one to look good next to the rest of all your new hardware

try and have look at corsair power supply there 600 watt psu semi modular is very good and very reasonable price also try and calculate how much wattage you actually need for your systems i got 600w and only use about 400w of it so could of saved some money and got 500w supply
