    PC build opinions

Get a better PSU, the CX series are tier 4 and known to be shitty and fail, and their capacitors are only rated at 30°c. Also, if you are using it for anything other than gaming I reccomend getting a 120gb ssd and putting windows on it. It makes the system so much faster.

Can I use the Windows 8.1 MOBO Driver Suite for Windows 10?

The drivers will probably be compatible, all of the drivers I tried on w7 worked on w10

    Good budget graphic card

Argue like hell. If u used PayPal try to get a refund with that. A GPU shouldn't just fail like that.

Budget PC GPU: PowerColor R9 280x or GALAX Geforce GTX 960

My choice would be the r9 280x. It uses more power and is hotter but is quite a bit more powerful. Also take into consideration how ubisoft games are optimised even worse on AMD. If you do get the 960 make sure to get the version with 4gb of vram.

Arma 3 Good PC low FPS

Is it just arma that performs badly? I've never played it because of all these threads saying how badly it runs on fx processors.

    I can't decide on a Graphics card

They are good, one of my regrets after buying the gtx980 is not looking into 290 crossfire.

Heard you could crossfire a nvidia and an amd card together

There were some dx12 rumour about it

Trying to find a new monitor for gaming.

You probably want to go for something with either 1080p 144hz or 1440p with that GPU. You could also try something with G-sync, they sound interesting. What is your budget for the monitor?

My High End PC Nows Runs Slower And Game FPS is Lower

Trying to figure out what power supply I should buy

Just my opinion on it, but for the PSU go for the best you can afford. The PSU is one of those things that isn't dependant on another part. Get a decent 750w and it could last you for a long time, especially with the way nvidia's power consumption is going.

    Gtx 980 Water Cooling?

Also is there any radiator brand that is recommended? There is a magicool 240mm for £30 and a watercool 240mm for £60 I've read a bit more. I think I'm starting to understand this.

    Gtx 980 Water Cooling?

One more question, instead of having a backplate wouldn't it be much easier to has some sort of support holding the graphics card up? I was so worried when I first put the 980 in and it sagged a bit, but so far it has been fine.

    Gtx 980 Water Cooling?

Yeh, thanks. The GPU block is about £80, and I haven't looked much bit I assume the pump is about £60ish. It is a decent amount. Anyway, thx for the help. I will try to read more online.

    Gtx 980 Water Cooling?

The GPU block is around the £80 mark but the pumo is also a similar price. I will look at overclockers and they to read more about it. Thanks :D
