Question Recommendations for a new wireless mouse ?

G305 is on my desk at work, as well!! I would second that recommendation. I like that it is battery powered versus having to plug in a cord to charge at work. Simple battery swap from the "Office Supply Cabinet" and I'm back up and running when needed. Simple for travel too.

Question Is it normal for some of my mechanical keyboard's switches to be short and long?

I think what you are seeing the key cap design (heights) versus the actual switch having different lengths on the switch steam poles. They are pretty consistent there but as you can see from the below image the type of key caps you have can very greatly on the design / flow of the keyboard from...

You will want a north facing PCB with a solid "color" switch. This will allow the light to only shine through the opening and into the shine through key caps. If you go with a clear switch or south facing PCB, the RGB will shine more through the bottom.

    Question Hot-Swap keyboard switches ?

Anyway my question now becomes does every switch work in every hot swappable board? - The main thing to look for on hot swappable boards are if they are 3-pin or 5-pin compatible. If the board is 3-pin only, then if your switch has 5 pins, you will need to clip the two "stand off pins" to make...
