    Why are pre-builts inbalanced?

I've noticed that many pre-built gaming pcs have a strong cpu and a cheap gpu for the overall price. Why do they do it this way? Wouldn't they be making the same amount of money if they chose a more balanced mix of components for the same price? This is just something I've been wondering about.

Power supply for new build recomendation

I would just get a new gpu instead of sli when the time comes for it, but you do need more watts for sli. If you want to save money, I would get a cheaper z97 mobo instead of a z87.

Is this a good pc build. or did i do something wrong?

bottlenecking means that one part of your computer is too slow to take advantage of the speed in another part of your computer so your overall experience is slow. You have a strange mixture of computer parts. When you say that you get 20-30 fps, what kind of graphics setting are you playing on...

    Gaming Build 5820k, 32GRam. 2x 970GTX

Are you going for a 4k monitor or something? A computer budget of $1500 should future proof you for the next few years for sure. Then all you need to do is upgrade the gpu. I think you need to reconsider the amount you want to spend on the computer unless you are going for 4k.

    ~700$ pc build

I have the 200r case. I may just be unlucky and got a bad case, but I'm having an issue with the case being suddenly noisy unless I give it a tap. It just seems like the plastic hard-drive bays have trouble keeping the vibrations down. I know that at least several other people have reported this...

I noticed that with the 404 errors. All I have to do is click the back button and submit again and it works. just found this out. It's sooo annoying.

The new nvidia cards use much less energy and so you only need a 500 watt psu. They are also quieter, cooler, and a good value. I only put the amd 8 cores there because that's the best cpu you can get while keeping the price below $700.

    Good Stream/Gaming PC?

If you're getting a new pc in this budget range it's better to go with the newest gpus. Also the gtx 970 is a great deal for its performance.
