Today i delid my 7700k it was OC @ 4.7Ghz 1.27v and in stress prime95/aida cinebench r15 tamp was 85C+. After the "surgery" i hit 5Ghz 1.31v max temp 75C in benchmark when gaming never went over 65. Im using old noctua nh-d14 air-cooler so pretty happy . To be honest I did not expect such a result.

So the day just came i have der8auer Delid-Die-Mate 2 and thermal grizzly conductonaut have plan to dont put silicone again to secure IHS on pcb but need think about put on corners b7000 glue (just to instal into mobo then cpu clamp will secure ihs) . How you think will this work ?

Hi there I just upgraded my old 3570k to 7700k and wondering if I has to change my CPU cooler I have noctua Nh14-d from old build it was perfect even with 4.5ghz oc. I will probably oc 7700k to 4.8Ghz will noctua handle that CPU. Thanks

Hi there just get at a bargain price new ZOTAC 1070Ti AMP EXTREME but have quite old pc cpu 3570k@4,4Ghz+ asus sabertooth z77 and 32GB cl10 1866Mhz. I'm just worried how bad this processor will be bottleneck that GPU. For now im use ROG Strix GTX 1060 OC edition 6GB.
