    Yes You are quite right. I contacted LG and they confirmed. The guy that installed it informed me that it was a Bluray Burner, Which was what I wanted. Thanks

    According to the box its a 12x BD-Rom/DVD rewriter. I have burnt DVD's but the program that I am using Video Studio says that the disc is not empty. I have not had a problem with DVD's. It seems that it is only when I am using a Bluray Disc.

    I have a Bluray burner but I have got to format the Bluray Disc first. I am using Windows 7 but Verbatem Disc BD-Re cannot be formatted as it tells me that that the disc is write protected. My Burner is LG CH12NS
