That's the sad part about the Z97 Gaming 3, only having 6 power phase. If i'm gonna really go with Z97S SLI would can the both cpu reach even 4.6 especially with a 4690k cpu

I'm not very comfortable about the MSI Z97 PC-MATE i'm not sure why, of course i did read some reviews on it. It just i'm having doubts on it's performance with G3258. As for the MSI Z97 Guard Pro i'm still considering it aside from AsRock Z97 Pro4. Currently i'm still saving up for the mobo...

Then i should go with the AsRock Z97 Pro4 for Pentium K and 4690k? Also If I'm gonna OC both Pentium K and 4690k with Z97 Pro4 can it unleash it's potential? (even a bit for 4690k)

Testing your ram or gpu to a dfferent board would be good start to troublehshoot it to see if either of the two is working.

Can't decide on my cooler yet though. But i'm thinking of Corsair H75 Hydro Series. Of course for the meantime i'll be using my stock cooler.

Recently bought the vs450 and g3258. Other than that i still haven't bought my planned parts. Is my motherboard choice good enough for a g3258 since i'm upgrading it to an i5k? I've read a good review of MSI Z97 Guard Pro here :
