Something seems off though, why would some programs not be there anymore?

So, I've never had this happen before and can't seem to search for anyone having the same "bug".. I hope? I got home, turned on the PC like normal but to loaded up to a basic, fresh windows install desktop. Windows message came up from the tool bar saying it couldn't activate at this time...

I was wondering if this would be possible, I need a older driver for just one program but don't want to use the old driver for everything. Any assistance is appreciated, thanks.

Yea, you wont be able to get 1600mhz RAM with that CPU but you can run a GTX 970. You will run into a bottleneck with newer CPU intensive games but otherwise it will run the GPU fine. As long as you have at least a 500watt PSU. Did you buy the computer 2nd hand? It seems like it may have been...

I'd keep tweaking your memory settings. Your core clock is running at stock speeds. I'd try to bring you core clock up I've seen a number of people add ~ 100 to the core. Then bring the memory down until you are getting a good result in the games you play.

Looking at the evga website the memory is set to 1317, yours running at 1752 may be the issue. You can change the memory clock in msi afterburner

Are you overclocking the card? If so it may be causing the crashes.

Run cpuid hardware monitor and see if the cpu is running hot. Otherwise it may be another issue.
