'Gears Of War 4' Multiplayer Now Allows Cross-Play Between Xbox One And PC

For the social (non-competitive) aspect of PvP, this is really cool. Sure, it's highly likely that PC gamers will have a distinct edge over console gamers (higher framerates, better response time for peripherals, etc.), but for the social aspect it's great. In my case, for example, I have...

Tom's Hardware Steam Giveaway - Civilization VI!

As pleb as it may seem, I had the most fun playing Civilization: Revolution, on the Xbox 360. This was mostly because I had friends who also had the game so we played together, but it was fun none the less. On the other hand, my best individual playing experience is definitely with Civ V.

Tom's Hardware Steam Giveaway - The Witcher 3 + DLC Season Pass

I like to think that device and platform exclusivity are making their way out the door. Windows is actively trying to make a universal platform across all fronts (desktop, mobile, console) and I hope that others will take suit. Sure, you have the problem of a monopolized environment, but...

Nvidia GTX 1070: The Full Specifications

We'll see what the benchmarks say. If the 1070 doesn't provide "maxed out" performance at 1440p, I don't see the reason to upgrade from the 970. The 970/390 are the 1080p golden boys right now, and if the 1070 doesn't bump it up to 1440p, I don't think it's a worthwhile investment (for those...

Tobii Announces 'Tom Clancy's The Division' Eye-Tracking Features

$139 is a pretty penny for a few fancy features added to your game. I'm not sure many people will see the benefit, but who knows, this could just be the tip of an iceberg if it makes its way into VR (without tacking that price on top of the VR hardware).

Time Warner ISP Review & Reader Survey Results

Seeing these rates makes me sad. The "Extreme" is the highest option offered in my area, and that costs about $75 a month. I pay $60 for 30 down/ 5 up. Then again, that is basically my only high-speed option in my area, so it's not like I have much choice anyways.

    Tom's Hardware Giveaway - Fallout 4!

See if Mattel actually produced those hoverboards we were promised! Next I would hoard every teddy bear I found, because that's normal, right?

Tom's Hardware Giveaway - Dying Light!

As far as authenticity goes for zombies, I've gotta go with Dead Rising (well, at least they are authentic to start).Slow, clumsy, fun to kill. Favorite zombies by far. I guess the Plants vs Zombies zeds fit the bill as well.
