AMD CPU speculation... and expert conjecture

MSi is teasing a new AMX board at computex, you can clearly see the lack of a square cut in the middle, and spread out pin covers as an indication of the AM3+ socket layout. From what I see, it screams "MICRO ATX AMD FX BOARD". Edit: Here we go...

MANTLE then seems to just be a temporary bridge to the long awaited DX12, which hopefully actually works as a low-level API.

Well, Kaveri seems a mixed bag. A good step up, but now its a case of waiting for Excavator...

I7 4770k or SLI EVGA SC ACX 770?

The second 770 LOL. You are increasing your gaming performance so much more than an i7... i7s nowadays are only for the people who have to run super heavy productivity apps alongside gaming..

Can this run bf4 ultra 40-60 Fps

No, no and no. High 2XMSAA Low AA post should give you steady 60FPS. A 7970/GHz is the minimum for BF4 Playability at Ultra, they will still have some drops in the low 40s (I think its playable but you should aim for 50+)

Which gpu is better for Gaming?

760 is the better choice. I love mine and it should handle most games on high without a problem. I like my ASUS DCUII 760, but what 760s are available in your area?

    Which Non Reference R9 290

Sapphire Tri-X all the way! From the results, it seems much more consistent in clock speed than reference. MSI Gaming 290 is not bad either (Then again, they might have worse VRMs then the Lightnings I am used to seeing).

A 450 is mediocre by today's standards. A 7750 beats it (and the 460/550ti) fair and square and thus the 7850K will perform like a 460/550ti.
