You can overclock the 970 to reach and performance of stock 980 very easily. The 150$ premium for 980 is not worth it in my opinion. If you want to have a meaningful jump, spring for 980 ti. Costs a lot, but performance is well worth it.
MD seriously need to put on the brakes to their rebranding. They are have been rebranding their HD 7000 series ever since it came out some, 4 years ago.
I still not sure how are you guys defending them? Yes, it doesn't make much difference in most situations, but IT DOES under certain situations. Not to mention I got this card based on specs, which read 4GB 224GB/S, it didn't mention anything but the two different pools of memory. Anyways, I'm...
I can't begin to explain how much I loath Exynos. I have it on my S3 and it overheats like crazy and eats battery like there is no tomorrow. Not only that, the source code is not published to the public and hence it is a major wrench in the gears for the Custom ROM makers out there.
@jay2all I did the same thing! I have Beyerdynamic DT 990 Pro which has excellent sound stage, got mod mic 4 for superb voice quality but using Razer surround pro which surprisingly does the job really well. Buying studio grade headsets and separate mic separately will allow you to get best...
I initially wanted the regular gaming edition as the color scheme and brand would have gone well with my MSI gaming Motherboard. However, it was out of stock and the golden edition was only 30$ more expensive and so I got that instead.
I just cannot find any reviews so far for the card. I know...
I am not worried about 4K, like i said not the frame buffer, but future texture sizes, I gauged that Shadow of Mordor already eats 3GB of VRAM on ultra texture pack. Anyways, gonna wait for 8GB VRAM version.
The way texture sizes are increasing, it won't be long before we cross 4GB. It i not about the frame buffer I am worried about, but the size of the textures when you into the ultra territory these days.
