If your CPU is that hot that is the issue. It should be around 40-70C not 90. You are probably experiencing thermal throttling. What is your cooler?

What are your HDD and RAM models? When I built my setup I went cheap on hdd and that came back and bit me in the butt. I believe this could be what you are experiencing.

If you can run most games you play steadily around 144 fps then yes definetly get it. I would recommend the MSI-MAG271c it is 144hz 1ms 1080p 27" curved for $270; You might get a dead pixel though.
